Asado Negro w/ Toasted Sesame & Spoonbread

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mushroom: Warm in a saucepan over medium low heat.
  • Beef: Warm in vacuum bag in a pot of steadily simmering water.
  • Spoonbread is best warmed in a 350 degree oven, loosely covered with tin foil. Lid is not oven safe!
  • Serve asado negro over spoonbread. Garnish with oranges, picked herbs and toasted sesame.

INGREDIENTS:

Asado Negro (Mushroom): mushrooms, wine, vegetable stock, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, orange, mint, parsley, salt, pepper, scallion, carrot, onion, sesame seeds, spoonbread (cornmeal, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, egg)

Asado Negro (Beef): beef, wine, chicken stock, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, orange, mint, parsley, salt, pepper, scallion, carrot, onion, sesame seeds, spoonbread (cornmeal, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, egg)
